forget the is-f and just a 550

if haven't already...I would spend some time looking thru some lexus forums, especially those dedicated to the IS/F

the is-f is bigger then the m3 and to tell you the truth im pretty pissed off at bmw! everytime i take it in they tell me the same problem has happend and they do the samething to fix it. and what do you know its happens again and again.why dont they find out whats causing this to happen and fix that ?also having them tell me that their going to send off a sample of my gas to see if im using cheap stuff and trying to make it like its my fualt.

What exactly is wrong with your car?

You may already have, but try a different dealer.

If you have gone to the dealer more than 3 times for the same problem, you could qualify for a lemon. Then get what ever car you like.

If you like the IS-F, then get it. I personally think it is the worst in that segment. Not saying it is a bad car, because it isn't.

i wont try another dealer becuase im not paying for a loaner.

im in the process right now for the buy back

and i was asking about the isf because the 08 is the first year the car came out and with me buying the 535 in the first year and having all these problems i want to make sure i avoid them.

my dealer treats me like crap for someone who bought a 60,000 dollar car. ive called bmwna and they dont seem to care that much. so im on to a different car company.

What dealer is charging you for a loaner? I switched dealers due to poorly run service department, I have never been charged for a loaner. Plus my new dealer gives much better loaners, more variety. It is fun test driving all the different models.

If you are worried about first year models, check out the C63. The 6.2 liter engine has been tested on the road for years, since that powerplant is in their other AMG models.

That's a bogus policy about the loaners. I bought my car from a BMW dealer in Chicago and have it serviced down the street. I get a loaner just the same, and usually a BMW of some sort. Not that I care so much really, so long as I can get to work.
