and my thoughts are...

1) BMW is safe from Infinity. The M35/M45 is a) Too small, about the same interior space as the new E90 3 series (Yes, I've sat in it before). 2)The ergomics is out of wack (WTF would put the controls so far out of the way??!! answer : Idiots). Interior quality is obvious below par. You can write the M35 off as a potential competitor, it isn't in the same league. This caught me off guard. I was expecting a much better follow thru from the makers of the G35. too bad...

2) The new Lexus G50 (G430 replacement) is simply boring in style. You've gotta at least use a 18inch wheel if you want to run w/ the German manufactures. Lexus will sell the G50, as there always will be those people not willing to spend the extra money for the German cars, and wants a toyota reliability. They just won't sell it to people who wants the absolute best in everything and willing to pay for it (like me) .

3) BMW display has nothing exciting to see. The only thing that was half ass interesting to me was a) That a 545 SMG that is an exact duplicate of my car is on the spinning poduim. That means I purchased the right color/equipment b) That the M3 perfomance pack on display it the exact color (interlagos blue) that I will be ordering on the E60 M5.

4) I am absolutely impressed w/ the new Corvette, and will return next Tuesday after the official unveiling of the Z06 to see the monster in full glory Good God!! 0-60 in 3.6 for $70k ...where do i sign??!!

5) A couple idiots from Daimler Chrysler working behind the booth couldn't answer 1 out of my 5 questions in the Viper Hardtop they are working on front of. I guess there is no reason to buy a Viper in light of new Z06

6) Toyota is BIG on trucks and they would be my choice if I were to buy one.

7) Good god!! Has anyone seen where MBZ putz the Sirius Radio antenna on their E55??!! Chris Bengal is a f$^*ing Genius for the sharkfin design. Somebody give him some credit.

I did a google search on Lexus G50 and I couldn't find anything. You sure it's not G500?

 

Prob the 500 if you think about it 300 400 430 500 is the more likely choice. I read it and I automatically assumed he left out a "0" now if it is the 50 the I'll be suprised.

Oh BTW did anyone go into the BMW Lounge to see whats inside? anything good?

 

I think it's still GS430. The new 5.0 liter engine won't come out until LS gets it first.
