The difference is really down to PDK, it's a great transmission. PDK just came out on the 2010 997 Turbo and it's dropped well over half a second off the 0-60 time (as low as 3.2 seconds for the 2010, roughly 3.9 for the 2009, and the 2010 car only has 20hp extra compared to the 2009).

I love the Panamera though - I think its a beautiful and somewhat appropriate re-incarnation of the Bugatti EB112, but I view it as a welcome similarity.
