The Panamera turbo rocks. Awesome performance and a gorgeous, well-appointed and refined interior. And 0-60 in 4 seconds does beat M5. Of course, the Pamera Turbo costs at least $30K more than M5.
So swajames, are you getting one?

It's definitely on my wish list, Scott... Who knows - watch this space!
I so much want to get a E39 M5 as there should be some killer deals as BMW transitions the E60 out and the F10 in. Unfortunately, I have not gotten any bites from anyone on assuming my lease. I love my car but I want more power.

It's a big car - it's 7 series sized so it is a little heavier than an M5, but only about 200lbs heavier, so it's arguably light for its size. Still, despite the size and a few extra pounds it's a pretty safe bet that the Turbo will turn in 0-60 times of below 4 seconds. Porsche is always conservative on its performance numbers so an official time of 4.0 will translate to late 3's in real world tests. As for the drive, it's apparently very good. Early reviews are very positive on that front. Haven't driven on myself yet, of course, but I plan to do so as soon as they hit the dealers later this year.
To meet or beat that, the F10 M5 will have to sport 600 bhp or more IMHO.
I need more of my own clients......
