Toyota did. Then they got smart cuz no one wanted a high priced Toyota no matter how luxurious or good --they made a brand called Lexus.

Surely Hyundai won't be stupid enough to try and market it in the middle east under that name...anyone remember how the Chevy Nova didn't sell in latin countries because in Spanish "no va" means "it doesn't go"?
