Horse or Bull?
#33
what a spot to be in Horse or bull. My uncle has a 360 and man that is a killer car. I have been a die hard ferarri lover. But a guy in my neighborhood has a baby bull. He gave me a ride and oh boy that is a mean ride. Now since you are going used may I throw my all time favorite ferarri in the mix. The 560 modena. Enough said!!!!!

That 458 is indeed a beauty. Don't forget, though, the Gallardo is also at the end of its life and replacement is due in the next year or so. It's a fairly safe bet it will also be an absolute monster.

True, but, as I said earlier, I am a trditionalist - there's just something about the prancing horse that just DOES it for me. The Pinninfarina designs help of course. Doesn't Audi own Lambo, then he can save himself some major $$$$ by just getting the R8 instead - same exact car isn't it?
Really hard to say there's any way to make a bad choice at this level - I'd absolutely LOVE to own either one. If I did have a choice though, there's just something about Lamborghini that appeals. For me, Ferrari is all about beautiful cars that drive with surgical precision, whereas Lambo is all about turning the experience up to 11. It's just that much more extrovert and a little more theatrical, and for some reason that just appeals to me a little more.
Of course, in an ideal world you'd have both! My boss has an F430 and a Gallardo. I've actually driven his Lambo, and it just blew me away.

That's right, the R8 does have a lot in common with the Gallardo, although the Gallardo definitely turns up the heat.

Probably wont sell it though. I love collecting cars...
Many factors at play here. Where do you live? Climate/road conditions. How will you use the car? Sunday driver/garage queen or drive it hard/occasionally track it. This is a question seen often and I personally cant figure out how someone who is truly prepared to make a six figure investment in a car is looking for advice on a board like this. What other cars do you currently have in your "collection"? These cars are 2 completely different animals. One is AWD, one isnt. One can be serviced at an audi dealer, the other cant. Depending on the color of course, one says look at me, the other not so much. I also question the reality of the wife wanting to take a vacation sidelining this purchase. That simply tells me one shouldnt be buying a ferrari or a lamborghini if they cant also go on vacation with the wife. Doesnt make sense to me but then again, what do I know???
