Gray/parallel/direct imported cars are rampant across Asia. The rules for directly importing cars aren't as strict and the same rules do not apply to importers that deal in small numbers. In Korea, we had GT-Rs (right hand drives) on the roads of Seoul a couple of weeks after the car was launched in Japan. I'm not sure what the official Nissan launch date for GT-Rs in HK is, but with HK being HK (meaning the Asian capital of ostentatious consumption) I can believe the GT-Rs are everywhere on the island~

Not a fan of the GTR. Long awaited as it is, and very fast. I think it lacks the personality of our BMW's.
Two friends of mine in Little Rock got them a few weeks ago, one has already sold his after about three days and got a Porsche Carrera 4s. Now that's a great car!
