What is all the fuss about? All the fuss is about this~

http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=zqBBL7WYWIs&...feature=related (Top Gear track test of GT-R)

http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=X9Jl8yLeV3A (Bruno Senna compares GT-R to 911 Turbo)

http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=qreQwTeaVWY&...feature=related (R8 vs 911 vs Elise SC vs EVO 10 MR vs WRX STi vs GT-R)

Does brand alone make a car great? Or does a car make a brand great? I believe it is the latter. Even our beloved BMW makes a flop of a car once in awhile.

Admittedly, the GT-R is not a very attractive car, but it is a super car killer. No matter what anyone says. I am a huge fan of the coveted M cars, but this Japanese bred road warrior will run rings around the best any brand can dish out. Someone else may bring out something better in the future, but for now... performance wise, the GT-R is arguably the king of the road.
Very well said. Agree 100%

Couldn't agree more. I read every article about this car, prior to its release. It's no doubt an absolute beast in every facet, from a performance perspective. It's just too bad the looks don't support what's underneath. Then I could see taking a lot of pictures of this car and staring at it all the time.

Your right C~ The car definitely isn't a looker. Looks like the bastard child of Godzilla and Atilla the Hun! The Japanese have never been known to put out attractive designs.

It's just another Jap car. Big whoop. It's over hyped. So it's got all this great technology. Blah, blah, blah... Does it have the flux capacitor as well? Can it go back to the future?

Nothing against you Joe (You know you're my boy , but I'm just not a fan and I still don't get why everyone is drooling over this car.
naa i know that c.. no harm at all.. to each his own...

Oh no? What about Toyota 2000GT, Supras, Nissan Zs or previous GT-Rs? What about RX7s, Honda S2000? There are many more.
And what about the guys who design cars that everyone drools at?

Looks are subjective.

I overlooked the Toyota 2000GT in my statement. As for the Toyota Supras, Nissan Zs, Mazda RX-7s and Honda S2000s... I don't think I personally would call them outstanding designs, but this just my opinion. Now, the previous GT-Rs... also my opinion, but they didn't look any better than the current.

There have been some fabulous designers out of Japan and my statements wasn't directed at Japanese designers. My comment was directed at Japanese manufacturers and their penchant for putting out generic and card board personality cars. Mind you... once in awhile, there are small flashes of brilliance.
