COME on now stop with the comparing of a jag with the all mighty E60... the jag is like a hooker...pretty and sexy on the out side sexy ass lines and curves... but lets talk about the long term of this car... just like a hooker the life is short and shes not going to be able to keep up for long.. worn a run down... lets face it gentalmen... ITS A GOD DAM FORD!!!!!!!

1. Whats a Jag XC?
2. The XF is a very comparable car to the E60. If you dont like it dont read it.
3. It is not FORD anymore... Jag is now owned by Tata motors... an Indian company. So if you didnt like American maybe you'll like Indian more... hahahaha
Note: Yes I know it was still under Ford when the XF was constructed.

Saw a New Jag Xf this Morining and the rear O/S suspension had collapsed, it was just abandoned in the road causing mayhem.
Maybe it had rear wheel steering like the New Renault Laguna Ha !
Bet the owner was pretty racked off, it was only a few weeks old i bet !

Wow - what has Ford ever done to you
I have a 2005 F-150 that has only been in the shop ONCE in 3 years and 28K miles...was a broken power window regulator, fixed under warranty within one day, and returned washed...I already have to have my '08 535i into the BMW dealer for hard starting AND a rear window anti-trap malfunction after 4 mos of ownership...at this point I'd say my FORD is the more reliable vehicle. I realize this is an apples to oranges comparison, and I really like my '08 535i but these cars are not known for stellar reliability!I did stop by and check out the Jag XF and had it been available last Nov. - it would most definitely made my short list. The supercharged model w/20" wheels of course, the only negative I could find with jag is the weight penalty...a heavy tank at 4100 lbs! Sorry you don't like jags but the current jaguar lineup is probably the most reliable it has ever been (thanks in large part to Ford's influence in the manufacturing process)! My family had a late 80's 4 door jag and it was a true pos...something was breaking every time we drove it...was a cool looking ride though!

You are partialy right. The Mercedes;-a faithful dutiful wife. The BMW;- the girlfriend you leave your wife for. The Jaguar;- the expensive hooker who, if you could afford, you would keep as a mistress.
Life is the sum toatal of experiences, the really great ones are always worth the cost. I cannot forget the experince of a Jag, and other things that might be monitored by the faithful.
