Not quite, the Gull wing was my dad's dream car, he finally bought one at auction for his 50th B-Day (22 years ago now). He started collecting whiel he was restoring a 1932 Cadillac V-16 a friend gave him after it was being used as an herb planter on a farm in Bolivia. During the 9 years it took to restore the Caddy he got really into cars and went to auctions frequently.

if it was any joe shmoe chip foose butchering the car, i would agree. BUT this was done by AMG. so its a limited edition run of just 10 done by the factory; IMO this gets top marks.
