What a way to ruin a very rare classic. My dad has a 52 300sl Gull wing, beautiful car, but this is a travesty. That car is why too rare and beautiful to do this to it, just plain stupid. :thumbsdown:

i found a pic of your dad online! j/kNot quite, the Gull wing was my dad's dream car, he finally bought one at auction for his 50th B-Day (22 years ago now). He started collecting whiel he was restoring a 1932 Cadillac V-16 a friend gave him after it was being used as an herb planter on a farm in Bolivia. During the 9 years it took to restore the Caddy he got really into cars and went to auctions frequently.
