I'm really liking how the CLS looks...inside and out.
I wish only that MBZ would offer a manual transmission, but I'm not going to hold my breath as they have such a poor track record for such a transmission in anything other than a C class.
Speaking of track records, I'll bet you will have more fun driving the 5 series than the CLS.

Very true but I doubt were going to be taking corners at 120mph on our way to work
I hate MB but I do respect the CLS and CL.

I hate MB and hate the CLS and CL. Basically MB is trying to fool us by putting nicer wrappers on the same uninspiring, unreliable cars.

I wouldn't be complaining about Mercedes Benz being unreliable especially if i were a BMW owner. All i see on this forum is people complaining about ther E60's and how much problem it gives from squeeky windows, hard time closing trunks, i drive dieing etc.
Look at my post here for the answer:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...e60+reliability
Also...keep in mind the reliability suveys made by jd powers and so on....
Also i want to add that it's known for bmw not to be in the top ranks of the reliability list, like infinity, or lexus or whatever jap. On the other hand no infinity/lexus will drive as a bmw. A bmw will never be as reliable as a lexus and a lexus will never drive as a bmw....to quote another member.
I for one am 100% pleased with my car. Never went wrong. The only thing i dislike are the rf tires, but those not bmw fabrics and rf tires are known for their harsh ride and bad response.

Whos complaining? If you dont own an E60 why are you here asking questions about mercedes and range rovers? Whats the point?
