If you see the two cars in person. As Mikebuzzsaw said, the M3 is way way more muscular.

Afterall, the offsets for the real CSL's would fit perfect on the E92.

Plus if you look closely none of the reps are identical to the real CSL's.

DEFINITELY the 335i - lowered, 19" CSL wheels, blacked out grill(?), body kit.
What would finish it off nicely would be a shadowline trim option - I don't know why BMW doesn't offer that as an option for the 335i. And to answer my own question, I guess to aesthetically distinguish the 335i from the mightier M3 one more subtler way.

They both look great but the chrome on the 335 is a big detractor for me and the side "gills"( yes , they are gills NOT grills if you refer to ///M brochures) really add that muscular feel as does the raised hood.
