The BMW 3 Series has stood as the champion of the segment for decades, but not anymore.
The new Camp is the Audi A4

I never really did like Audi's. People who buy Audi's are missing out. Bigtime.
Do they still have low quality electrical components in their cars? I don't know if this was ever the case but that's what I heard.

I'm no lemming, I would still buy the BMW even though it isn't leading the segment anymore!

+1 on all the old Audi electrical components. They brake down alot.
I did not like any Audi until last year when the new A4 was out which is very nice
you should go and have a look, alot of ppl say the built is better than BMW.

the rear end of the E90 looks a bit reserved, they should have let Andrian V D H and Bangle do a E60 on it,
now the facelift looks like a E60 at the front, which they should have done in the 1st place, the rear is still ugly.
Audi not reliable v BMW (Pingy u heard from my german friend's experiences)
BMW drive better, every time, i suppose the increase could be from MB C class drivers?

I test drove the new A4 before I bought my E60. It wasn't bad, but it didn't excite me very much. The steering was my biggest complaint. It wasn't very firm and didn't inspire as much confidence as BMW's do. The exterior styling was nice and the build quality was OK, but the interior plastics seemed a bit cheap. Anyway, I'm realy glad I went with a lightly used e60 instead of a new A4. I saved a ton of money and ended up with a much nicer car.

Good for Audi ! They deserve it for pushing the design and technology envelope...................BMW should be careful , I laughed at the smug attitude my dealer had today when he told me that BMW is recession-proof..................competition is Good !!

+1

My friend purchased a A5 3.2 a couple months ago.

It is one solid car. I can honestly say the fit/finish and build quality is leaps and bounds better than my 5-series.

I test drove the A5 and S5 awhile back, getting back into my 5er for the ride home was a big let down. The Interior is the new Audis are amazing.
