8300RPM 420hp V8 .... if it only has DSG no more BMW for me.
Look how the interior looks like the E39 ... beautiful.

Nice inside, but I find the outside to be blandness reincarnated. The new 5-series styling is difficult to match.

If you are actually comparing an AutoUnion to BMW and the 2 are the same league to you.... then you should DEFINITELY get the AutoUnion.

Do it!! Go for it!! LOL!!

cheers,

OK guys educate on this what's wrong with the Audi? To be honest I have never owned one ... and the RS is the only thing in their lineup that ever seemed compelling. What's wrong with it? 420hp, 8300RPM, German quaity, looks better and more sporty than the E60 IMO. The only question in my mind is does it come with DSG, which is supposed to be better than SMG.

Audi is a good car for the burbs & cold places with snow. But if you have good roads, no sports sedan beats the feel of a BMW. Nothing. You can buy a porsche, but thats apples and oranges. In teh sport sedan category, BMW has always gotten it right!

Just my 0.02 cents!

Enjoy whatever you buy!
Thats the bottom line.
Cheers

Ditto ! Although I much prefer the drive of a BMW you have got to give some respect to Audi, especially the RS team.

The old A6 was a piece of s**t - it looked and drove like a tank. But the RS6 was a completely different monster - a real piece of work. It would give a 911 a fright

On the other hand - the latest revision of the A4 is a good car and competes well with the E46 (although the E46 is still a better drivers car IMO and the E90 will extend this lead even further.)

Given what they did with the RS6 - I look forward to seeing what the RS treatment will do for the A4.
