My point is the diaper trunk.
Lexus is always a copycat. Anyhow, the car is too Toyotan!

I thought Audi and VW have the diaper trunks before the e60? I think the thing that really stands out for the e60 is the front end headlights, the kidneys, and the coooooooooool shark fin antenna. Ohhh, an a big wide openning trunk. in times when every sedans is staring to look like a extended hatchback.
Try this link:

It looks nothing like a e60 but a genuine Lexus design. Japanese don't copy anymore. It's the Chinese now.

From the rear it looked like a 7-er. Maybe not problem for E60 owners, but for 7-owners that will be asked if they have a new Lexus.

From the side... Well to me it looks like a mix of 5 and 7 design.

Well, just yesterday I was scanning the parking lot looking for a friend's car who was supposed to be meeting me for some coffee. My eye caught something that looked like a 5... turns out it was the -current- Lexus LS. So even the one pre-dating this newer car has some similarities. Certainly not details, but enough that it caused me to look again at it before realizing what it was. (this was at something like 200 yards)

The Japanese are copycats

I wonder if can they develop anything themselves?

They are the best hackers, have anyone heard about
a Japanese hacker who got caught?

I like driving the real, innovative car!

The front of the new luxurylexus is a M-B S, the rear a 7-series,
I suppose the engine is a Audi copy...

I think I will like it better when I see one in person. Good japanese designs are rare, original japanese designs are even more rare! (almost non-existent, Skyline GT-R V-Spec R34 comes to mind).

It is funny how everyone was bashing 5er new design when it just came out, and now we see so many copies/similar designs.... Only goes to show how innovative and forward looking Bangle/BMW designs really are...although I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled by e60 when I first saw it - but it grew on me, and I think this is one of the most beautiful sedans made to date...
