Perhaps.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't overlook it. I'm very much interested but will wait until more information is released. It seems to be the Tokyo motor show where lots of questions will be answered.

I'll be on the market for a new car at the end of this year and I think the latest "rumor" was that the GT-R is being released in the Spring of '08 in the US.
Not sure I could wait for it if true, but I'm not worried either. There's plenty of very nice cars out there if you're willing to look past brand loyalty.

BTW, it looks as if they've started taking deposits if you're interested. http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=248135

It should be a great car, but for the price, I'd probably opt for something else. They might be slower, but for around 70K, I'd look at an e92 M3 or a used 997S. Maybe even a Z06 if I wanted all out speed.

I am keeping my 550 so no need for the M3. Stock for stock the GT-R will be a competitor for many more expensive cars but the tuning that will be available will be crazy. I have owned a 240sx for the last 8 years and that is one of the most fun cars to drive, so I am very excited for this bad boy to hit our shores finally.
I am already 2 on the list but my dealership did not require a depsoit, maybe because I bought my wifes Armada there last year and I maintained a good relationship with the manager.
