A 2007 Porsche Cayenne S Titanium Edition
#1
Hey ya'll, I need some opinions about the next car my parents are getting. We had our Honda CR-V since 2007, it has 124k or mileage since my mom drives a lot to her appointments. After getting my m5 month ago, my parents decided to get a new car as well since the CR-V is just falling a part. Last week we were at the dealership where I bought my car at, and they have pretty nice SUVs there. ( We need an SUV for winter) The ML-63 AMG is an alcoholic to gas, it eats way too much, and I prefer never to buy a Merc in my life. X5 2008 4.8i is one of our options as well, exclusive edition with sport suspension and NAV+dvd. Or I collapsed with a Black Porsche Cayenne S titanium edition, Quad mufflers, sport susp, navigation, bi-xenon lights, and nice 2 color leather interrior. What do you guys think? its 2007 with 60k on it.
Please tell me your opinions and if someone knows about porsche, tell me more about that car and its problems. My mechanic ( the one who is fixing my M5) told me, Porsche have problems with engines sometimes, and on downshift it jerks a bit.

Hey, My mom has an 2009 x5 4.8. The thing is a beast, and it has the least consumption of gas I have seen on a SAV. Especially when you floor it. I tested her car out in Barrie with my gf. When we reached 240km+ in no time. My gf was screaming and cluthing her seat, "WTF is your mom doing with a car like this!" LOL. My bro has the 2010 Porsche cavenne S.I never drove it, the interior is IMHO ugly and has no interior space compared to the x5. I know the car has balls and moves but it seem to be missing something. I think porsche should have stuck to making sport cars.

Yup, I love the x5 4.8, but my parents want the porsche more. W/e this time its up to them what car they wanna buy, I got mine so I dont go into deep business with theirs. I will try to convince them for the x5, I love it !

I like the Porsche looks, and everything else BMW. I'd vote X6

I would have voted for X6 as well, lol, even though it's not on the list.
But yah, I would take the Cayenne over X5. I am not a fan of the X5 because of its looks.
Assuming your mom is a business woman, the Cayenne projects a more successful image anyway.
