Lexus really chooses the most uninspiring colors of any car I've ever seen.
They all look so bland.
They all look so bland.
I think we should be a little bit more objective then "BMW or nothing"
Toyota makes the most reliable cars and trucks in the market and 20 years ago Lexus didn't even existed and look at it now we are comparing to BMW.
Couple years back I was looking for an SUV and after test-droving a lot of SUVs (including X5) I ended up getting Lexus GX470 nothing else even came close. Yes it is not an Ultimate Driving Machine but neither is X5.

I saw a 2006 Lexus GS on 110 freeway last month heading from Torrance, CA (home of Toyota HQ) toward San Pedro. The car is very plain looking (dark green color).
I noticed there are a lot of people here buying the old GS and modifying them to look like cars from "Fast and Furious" movie

My last car was a Lexus.
They make very reliable cars, for sure.
The sales experience is also unrivaled. BMW could learn a lot from Lexus sales.
But they really are boring to drive once you've had a BMW. I will never go back.

myself also has LEXUS SUV, but somehow. I feel I've got rip off.. In Japan, they don't have name call "LEXUS" at all. it's all toyota..
I was comparing with LEXUS engine with toyota engine.. it was same.. no difference at all.. they just changed logo and made interior luxurious..
My bottom line is Japanese car is for reliable.. I know probably. .most of you agree.. not fun to drive..

Just another in a long line of Asian turds.
LS430 is a nice car. My father has one, and it is perfect for him, an older retiree. I found it much more refined and luxurious than the competition (BMW 7 series, Acura RL, Infinity M/Q) at the time. It has balls and it drives really smooth. The back seat is like a limo.
That said, I wouldn't want one, but the LS430 is a sweet luxury sedan.
