Default UMNITZA - Final Review

Ok so about a month ago I ordered MTECH front bumper lip and sideskirts. Took about a month to get here.. Some of you may have read my (Greyhound is Horrible) post.

This is a positive review for Umnitza. They've been catching alot of hell lately, even by me initially.. So I thought I'd give some good feedback as it's deserved in this order.

The only issue I had was with side skirts. The front part was about a 1/4" too short. It's not a big deal unless I point it out to someone, they would never notice.. Something that should def be corrected.. Im not the first to complain about that. But as far as everything else goes..

All parts were prepainted. and i must say I was skeptical at first but everything matches perfect. Even the PDC sensors look exact same color as the bumper they sit in.. I received the exact brackets that were on my stock bumper.

The holes were predrilled the correct size.

Fitment for the most part was good. I would say about 98% perfect. I dont blame Umnitza for this.. I blame my lack of knowledge. This is first time Ive ever done somethign liike this myself. I didn't shave the foam back as soem people said were nessacary also.. But Im nitpicking, theres nothing really noticable unless I point it out.. Hood gap is fine once I shimmed with washers.

I think that about sums it up. Aside from the 30 day wait to receive everything and the small sideskirt issue.. I am very satisfied with the way my car looks.

Installed the retractable plate as well. What a difference it all make compared to my stock ride.. I shouuld have a picture to post after this thread... Perhaps after I take a couple.. Though you all know what the Mtech kit looks like.

Alpine white car.. with black lip..

K see ya.

lol Here are a few. Hood gap isn't nearly as noticable as it may look in the pics. Shadow is casted quite strong taking the photos.

I placed washers under each of the 5 holes on bumper that you screw down to under hood.

Looks good man. I just got my side skirts and rear bumper from Umnitza too. How long did your side skirt installation take?

Thanks.. Sideskirts were actually pretty easy. Under the car there will be 1 5/16 size screw towards front and 2 towards back that are holding liner. then there are 8-10 size 27(i think) tork screws underneath that come right out.. then you just have to open both doors to be safe and pull the side of it off.. Pull hard.. will sound like you're breaking something but youre not. There are brackets that pop in and out..
Then there will be a couple of pieces on end you need to transfer to new side skirt.
clips for the 3 5/16 screws. and 2 litle brackets the snap to the side towards the back of the skirt.

About a half hour per side going slow so i didnt scratch anything.. Def throw a blanket out there if you dont have it on a lift and if you dont have a second person to help.

Thank you. Very much appreciated.

The car looks great! And with your permission, we'll use some of the photos in the future?
