My Ride: 545 modded the F out
We all know the two are AWESOME, but I picked up Johns wheels and he was an Ace as far as communication, pricing and shipping goes. Awesome guy and a pleasure to do business with. Not to mention he has been my personal E60 wikipedia guy. Thanks John.
I got my Mtech kit from Darwin and the SONIC MS. Fam. I also bought my trunk finisher and Bilstein Coilovers from them. Everyone was so friendly and the whole ambiance is best destribed as "inviting".... I was relaxed and stress free that I am about to go over there this Monday throw an extra couple hundred bucks into a wheel and tire package for my E Class Benz after I return the Bilsteins. (I've decided not to lower my car cuz I'm satisfied with how it currently sits on the sport suspension so I'm gunna put the 1200 bucks into the wheel/ tire package)
If anyone wants to swoop on the coilovers before I bring them back let me know. They said I gotta pay the restocking/ shipping so thats probably like 70-140. I hear 1200 was a great deal for the coilovers. 1100 would be great too!
here are some post Modding pics. The shop was reluctant to paint over the PDC cuz of a bad experience they had, but after some Forum reading I think Im gunna go ahead with it and have them painted in a week when I bring it back for all the Paint corrections. What Do you think? I dont think it looks horrendous... just a little tacky. (the car was previously jet black with a whoooole bunch of swirls)
