Hi guys,

When you use the iphone adapter provided by BMW, which connects inside the middle compartment in the E60, where do you put your device? It's kind of annoyance that I can't close the lid and I need to have easy access to iphone if I need to.

Not quite. If you want to use the ipod functionality in the iphone, you have to use the cable, that's the problem.

I would think it would work fine in the lower storage compartment in the center console since that is where the connector is. Just plug it in and activate the bluetooth...should work.

You're right that it should work but you may be reducing the ablilty for the phone to pickup a signal from the cell towers -- especially in a weaker signal area...

Back on the shelf, and $600 back in your pocket?

The price was cut $200 like a month ago. Only put $400 back in your pocket.

So is there no snap in adaptor yet for the iphone? The adaptor allowed the shark fin to act as the antenna for the cell phone while charging it too.
