My Ride: E60 2006 525d Steptronic, Carbon Black, M Sport-Package, Style 135M Rims, Beige Interior, Dark Poplar Wood Trim, Comfort Seats, Professional Navigation with BMW Online and BMW Assist, HUD, Logic7, TV, Bluetooth, Speech Control, Active Steering, Adaptive Bi-Xenon, 6-Disc Changer, Heated Seats (front and back), Extended Climate, PDC, Sunroof, Auto-Dim. Int + Folding Exterior Mirrors, Electric Rear- and Side Blinds, Foldable rear seats, Electric Adjustable Steering Wheel

i think my dad needs a new mobile phone soon. his nokia 7650 doesn't work with BT in the E60. which one would you recommend, that will work with bluetooth in our E60?

Depends on which service he wants. Phones differ by service provider.

The Motorola Q is probably the coolest phone out there these days.

And too bad it's only available in the US as a CDMA phone running on the Verizon service with crippled BT and no ability to be used as a modem (DUN) and has a questionable OS. Wait... not so cool after all.

Since sese is in Germany I'm guessing he's looking for a GSM phone. I don't think the Q is available as a GSM phone.

Most of the newer Motorola phones seem to work fine. At least the PEBL, A630, RAZR's and a few of the Vxxx phones that are offered in the US as GSM phones seem to pair up well. What is your dad looking for in a phone other than ability to pair with the E60?

- GSM
- camera
- organizer
- and BT of course

sony ericcson k750i would be nice, wouldn't it?

Well the bluetooth function will work yes, but i doubt if the transfer of the phonebook will work too.
I have the nokia 6680 myself and bluetooth + phone calls,... all work fine. But i can't look into my address book. So what i found about is that i've entered the most popular numbers in it and then i check last 8 phone calls... Works fine for me
