Too bad Verizon doesn't notify their personnel.? I spoke with them last week and they had no clue when or if there would be a fix for the V 710.? I terminated my contract and went with Cingular and the Razr V3.

During a service yesterday, I finally got my software updated to v15.3 and had bluetooth enabled.? So far, my Motorola V710 with "superdave's" patch seems to work perfectly.

But in speaking with my SA earlier today, he told me that he just got an e-mail from BMW saying that Verizon has released new software to all of its stores in the US to make the V710 compatible with the E60.? The Verizon software reference number is 8700_01.40R.

I'm probably going to wait.? As long as the superdave patch works, I'll keep it.? But I'll be interested to hear from others if Verizon actually has the new software and if it works.

I got the V710 software update last week. I successfully paired the phone and have full functioning bluetooth (i.e voice commands, phone books, steering wheel controls, incoming and outgong call recognition.) Works great. The only thing I haven't been able to do is get the dealer to install the snap in adapter for power. Not really a necessity, but still would be a nice feature vs power cord handing over the center console.

This is really wierd. I have a t610 and v710. I took my car to the dealer because neither phone would charge in the BT cradle. After a full day they said that coding had resolved the issue. When I picked it up the t610 worked but when I got home. .....and the center was closed, the V710 would not charge. Any idea. Is there specific coding for each snap-in? This does not make sense.
