Got an eject box for my Motorola V710 installed a couple weeks ago. Access to the external cell antenna has boosted reception noticably in several bad areas.

Just got a cell phone compensator installed 2 days ago (not part of the V710 eject box and not specific to the V710). Haven't used my phone enough to have a good feel for the difference that the compensator makes, but it does seem to improve things (i.e., less drop-outs, higher eceived signal strength indicator) even more. At $500 (U.S.), the compensator wasn't cheap. I think the compensator is the smaller silver box with the red and white wires connected on the upper right and the large cooling fins. You're looking in the driver's side of the trunk, underneath the panel covering the back of the tail light.
