US spec E60 bluetooth ready from factory?

I was just looking at the E60 brochure I d/l from BMW website and it said they are prewired for bluetooth. Now, my question is do I still have to buy something to enable bluetooth? I have an 07 on order and an 06 model I saw had a little button on the steering wheel with an icon of a person speaking into a telephone receiver. The sales guy told me this was for answering a call via bluetooth.
Will my 07 come ready to go with bluetooth? I have a LG VX8100 from Verizon and I know it's not on the compatability list from BMW, but I'm guessing it should work some what right?

Most MY05s as well. Not been too much change in this area except in formal announcements, dealer awareness, etc. I think biggest change happened with revised TCU in 09/04.
