i recently purchased my daughter a iTouch and i must admit, that thing is pretty sweet! now i'm "considering" buying an unlocked iPhone, but to use on TMO.
anyone here using an unlocked iPhone on TMO? if so, kindly give me some input on how the phone performs on the TMO network. i understand ATT has a different 3G network, but that's not a real deal breaker for me.
any major con's/gripes with this combo?!
TIA

You don't get 3G Speed, or Visual Voicemail, but everything else works. So dose MMS.

I have a iphone on tmobile right now. I sold my Android G1 phone after a few months and purchase another iphone. G1 is crap, iphone FTW.
Not worth getting the 3g model, since it will be running on tmobile's 2g network anyways.
No problems at all with the unlocked iphone on tmobile. I had a iphone on ATT previous to my G1 purchase, call quality on the tmobile network is much better. And tmobile's customer service is unmatched.
