sounds of chirping crickets....I guess no one has...
No, but I'm looking forward to it - the 700w has WM 5, which has A2DP support for stereo audio on BT. If/when that Samsung phone gets launched for the 5 series, there will have to be a code update to support A2DP on the 5.

I played with the device briefly this morning. Its a great phone and I am sure i could easily get hooked on the interface. I am not ready for a lifesyle change that keeps me so attached to email. I respond to emails within 4 hours max and thats enough.
The Treo 700w will not work with the E60. Some crucial portion of the BT stack is disabled. It displays exactly the same symptoms as the early Verizon crippled V710s. The phone and car detect each other, pair using passkeys etc but then the device disconnects. My test was brief, but convincing. I can pair a phone to the E60 in my sleep, so I doubt there were any additional steps needed.
Sorry!

If the 700 ran under the Palm OS I'd have one.
I have no interest in the Windows OS therefore no 700 for me.
My 650s work fine.

I am using 700W with 2004 525i
Easy to configure with E60 - YES
Voice quality - GOOD
AddressBook - NO, However it displays the Speeddial entries.
Now trying to figure out how to transfer the whole Addressbook...may be a 700W patch...However it is interesting to see that all the Speeddial entries are transfered to the Nav Screen. For timebeing, created speed dial entries for frequently used 7 numbers.
So Bottomline..the only issue is the Address book transfer...can someone help me....
Thanks,
Thaju

It's a Verizon phone... it therefore sucks by default.
No GSM. Disabled bluetooth.
I've been waiting for the Motorola Q, but I have heard it will be released to Verizon first. This is VERY bad news, because it means a GSM version won't be out for a while.

Then Cingular came out with one of the first 650's. I got one of those until Verizon came out with their 650.
At least in MA, Verizon kicks butt!
BTW, anybody interested in a Cingular Treo650? PM me with an offer.

Hey Thaju,
I just got the 700 yesterday (from an Audiovox 6700, and prior to that the Treo 650) and I can get it to pair, but while the 650 had always on connectivity, the 700 does not. In fact, it does not work at all other than pairing. Can you please provide your configurations? Mine are as follows:
MODE: Turn on Bluetooth: ON; Make this device discoverable: OFF
DEVICES: Device listed is my BMW with headset icon on (Edit set as HANDS FREE)
COM PORTS: Incoming Port (COM0)
That is it. Not sure what is going on, but would love ANY feedback!
Oh, I have a 2005 BMW 545i with a software update performed last September 2005. Thanks Thaju (or anyone!)...
