Verizon should be offering the Motorola V710, which does have Bluetooth capability, in your area.

Here's a link to some photos of the eject box install from the DIY forum.
I thought I'd posted some explicit TIS instructions on how to do it but couldn't find them.? I'll try to post them tonight if I get a chance.? (If anyone can find the earlier post to save me some time, I'd appreciate it!)

My dealer quoted me 1,500 and said it was almost at his cost. I'm reading $350.00 on here. Is that for the parts and install or just the install labor? I don't need the actual phone since I already use a v60.

I just got the Motorola V710 with Verizon yesterday. But I dont think we will ever see the day where it will be compatible with the car.

It's not well known, and my dealer certainly was uninformed, but BMW does have a generic GSM CPT9000 phone that works with multiple providers using the GSM network. I went this direction as I need the GSM system (it works in Europe) and all I had to do to change over to this phone was take the SIM card out of my old Sony phone and put it in the CPT9000. It works great...even the voice recognition used to dial numbers in the directory.
My total cost was $130 for the eject box hardware, $128 for the TCU programming, and $400 for the GSM CPT9000 (I got it on eBay). Total of about $660 + $150 for the generic v60 - $50 for selling the generic v60 on ebay.
The DIY forum has a bunch of pics that I and jsankford took while installing our eject boxes.
My wife was skeptical, as usual, but she definitely wants a similar solution in her X3 that we'll be picking up in Munich next spring.
