I want to get a new phone that is bluetooth compatible. I never like buying a phone... I usually get the best "free" phone available (with 2 yr contract). My options are MotorolaW385, LG chocolate, Samsung SCH-u410, Samsung Juke, or LG VX-4500. Do any of you have any of these phones? If so, good / bad?

Not sure about these phones. I have noticed via numerous posts that windows mobile based phones seem to have some minor issues. Either with call quality or address book loading. Blackberry complaints are far and few...GL

Soo many phones... I agree with GENEaTALS though... Blackberry may be the new phones for my lil family... I hear nothing but good things.

My wife had the LG Chocolate for about 2 months, it was a piece of junk, I would STRONGLY suggest against it! We swapped it out this past weekend for the enV2 along with another one for my oldest daughter as she's off to middle school in a couple of weeks. They both love the new enV2 and it paired seamlessly with the car so I would suggest it, or at least NOT the Chocolate in any case!! Good Luck with your decision!!

I had the chocolate 2 and never had issues until about a year into it where the screen would blank out, but they replaced it no problem.

The chocolate 3 which is flip I have not experianced that one, I currently have the dare which love, takes a little getting used to being touch screen and all, but syncs perfect and all.

I bought one LG chocolate phone about a year ago primarily as my international phone where I can swap SIMS as I switch various country accounts..just hated it and sold it back. The interface and menu items are totally irrational and Crap. I went bck to my trusted Motorola setups which is simpler- & got myself a pair of Razor and L-71. Just love it. They are easy to use and really are work horses yet simple and stylish indeed.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am not a big tech guy, so my knowledge of the best phones, etc is rather limited (obviously). I can always depend on this board for great feedback.

I wouldn't consider this a great source of information, but while visiting a friend in Boca Raton a few months ago a rather drunken young lady starting hitting on me by the pool. It's totally irrelevant, but she was very unattractive, and I am married, so I had no interest in what she had to say. Change either variable and things may have gone differently--but I digress. Nonetheless, I do recall she kept trying to call one of her friends on her LG Chocolate to no avail, then commented that the phone was a total piece of crap. Then I proceded to pretend that I saw someone I knew on the other side of the pool.
