Just bought a new 530 with media package and have a Nokia 6310i. Connects Ok with Bluetooth but I do not have txt message son screen- The car just does not recognise at all. Unlike my old 525 with in car phone media package. Anyone have any comments -

According to BMWs Bluetooth manual only works with the CPT9000 option, long since discontinued.

Yes!! Us early owners finally have a one-up against current owners LOL. The new CPT9000 Bluetooth retrofit module displays text messages too since its based on the 9000.

Hello Lomag, when I had CPT9000, I also had that SMS section and could see my messages there. Once I upgraded to the actual iDrive bluetooth (Not the adapter on the CPT9000 console), that SMS section went away. No longer there.

My Ride: 2005 530i Individual, DVD Package, HUD, Bluetooth, Comfort Seats, SR, etc
so no way even if i have my 6230i on the craddle? Damme i ordered the craddle so that i can see my sms while driving blah blah blah
