i've activated bluetooth and upgraded to 16.2 for a couple weeks. i've noticed there is something quite strange happened. the phone (v80) paired with the car normally but i have to open the phone to answer and sometimes not . same as dial out. the music muted and it showed my call info on the idrive screen but i need to use my phone to talk. i figured out how to resolve this problem but it's quite annoying. i have to press down the idrive button to go to the communication setting, select the phone and escape by pressing the menu button. it automatically un-paired and paired again. then it works normally. i've also noticed it only happens in the morning, after the car was sitting for the whole night. it didn't happen when i'm in and out of the car. does anybody have the same problem ?

 

Check the settings on your V80. The link must be set up as persisitant. It varies on phones so I cannot tell you how, but it is there somewhere

 

i checked the settings and it looks normal. what kind of link are you referring to ?
