I purchased a Samsung SPH - A900 at my local Costco earlier this week (329.00), here are my impressions: First of all the phone WILL connect with my car 09/04 BD. The following functions do NOT work on: the phone book, top 8, redial, receive call list, or missed call list.
What I DO have is the ability to hit the talk key on the steering wheel and say "dial number" and it will dial any number I want. I can also save a name and number by saying "save name" speaking the name, then say the phone number, then say "save". What that allows me to do is hit the talk button on the steering wheel, say "dial name" then speak the name, then confirm with "yes". I currently have five names stored, I don't know how many it will allow me to store but I really like this feature, it makes up for the fact that I don't have all of the features that it should. The phone itself is very thin yet tough (metal case). I like the size of it too (longer when opened rather than shorter). I just thought I would let you all know what's going on.
