Got this warning last night and my phone didn't appear to be connected to the car through BT either, though my phone thought it was connected to the car ok.

Left the car for 30 minutes and has been fine since. Oh well !

If I'm understanding you correctly, any warning about the status of SOS emergency calling probably deals with the car's internal phone and not your BT phone.

Maybe you were in an area that had no service on the internal phone?

The phone itself worked fine once I had disconnected it from the car by switching bluetooth off. When I tried making a call connected to BT it thought it was routing the call via the car. Quite strange but there must be something linked between the two systems for them both to be down at once !

My car just did the same thing. Did your sound go off completely? Mine just has. When I first got in the car to go to the store, I got the SOS signal, but the radio was fine, actually it was Sirius satellite and it worked fine. When I finished shopping (about 1 hour later), it was out completely, including the audio sound. It's cold here, but it's been colder. Don't quite know what to think of this just yet...anyone have any ideas?

Mine had been parked all day in parking garage all day before it reacted. Been perfect since though.
