Sorry E60ED, I do not know anything about your new phone (other than what I have read on phonescoop. With the knowledge base here I would expect somebody knows a bit about it.

E60ED, it should work on your new cell phone. Many people who owned K700i works on their E60. So i guess it should be fine with your P910. Nice phone though !

I am also curious to find out if the p910 will work with the E60 Bluetooth. I know for a fact that even though other Sony Ericsson phones did work with the E60 Bluetooth, people could not get their P800 (and I think even the P900) to work. This was supposedly due to the fact that the P800 (P900?) did not have the correct Bluetooth protocal. I think it either had the headset profile and not the handsfree profile, or vice versa. I don't know whether this problem has been fixed on the P910 or not. If you need more information on these Sony Ericsson phones' compatibility with the E60 Bluetooth you can do a search on this board and Roadfly for posts by Jonathan Spira who has quite a few posts on Bluetooth. I remember that some of his posts dealt with the P800/P900.

Welcome aboarc, E60ED.
I am also interested in a new phone with Bluetooth for my new 545. If we want to buy (or replace ) a cell, do you think Sony is the best buy? How about Motorola?

I just read another thread about Bluetooth and there were some posts about the compatibility of the P910 with the E60 Bluetooth. Some said that the P910 does connect with the car and you can make and receive calls BUT can't transfer the phone book to the car. Others said that the P910 would lose it's link with the car and drop the call.

Here are a couple of links that might be helpful:

Hi,

From what I've read the P910 doesn't work very well at all with BMW Bluetooth and even the K700 and S700 have some problems. It appears that the only SE phone's that work reliably are the the T610 or T630. I would love someone to tell me otherwise as I'm about to buy a new phone myself!

Thanks

I prefer the Sony phones to Motorola, ease of use. The new Razor is cool, but I still like the P910i much better.
