Sony Ericsson W810i works completely

@bruce_miranda
Do you have NavPro or NavBiz?
Today I tried a Mar 2006 e61 and it didn't work.
From what I know NavBiz works perfectly with the w810i. But I have NavPro - yes, the more expensive one :-(

Hi,
@norham
"not transferred to speakers" means that the speakers of the car continue to play music although the board monitor shows the "call procedure" correctly. Only the phone's speaker plays the ring tone. The phone's display shows "transferring call to head set" (or so), but exactly that does not happen.
"not refreshed dynamically" means that when the phone's signal strength indicator changes the car's indicator is not updated at the same time. Only, for instance, when you initiate a call, the signal strength of the phone's indicator is refreshed on the car's board monitor, showing the specific signal strength at that time point. That makes it rather useless.
If there is someone out there where everything works fine with his SE W810i, please give me more information of your configuration.
Thank you in advance!

My Ride: carbon black/black dakota, M package with M aero kit, M suspension and 18" 135 M style wheels -
steptronic, adaptive bi-xenon, active steering, moonroof, comfort seats, comfort access, nav pro, logic7, CD, HUD, PDC and some ...
As the phone is very similar to the K750i, I bought a W810i, hoping, it would work properly with the E60 system. Trying for several days with different settings, I got the same results as e61rg: pairing ok, transfer of phone book ok, incoming calls ok, but no sound from speakers with outgoing calls, signal indicator seems to be refreshed only with some delay.
This is my config: e60 2006, CIP 20.x, NavPro, W810i (Firmware R4CEO 12).
Has anyone solved the problem yet?

I have the Navigation Pro and I have the latest CIP and firmware.
I think the BMW cradle for the w800i and k750i should work perfectly. I'm actually building a cradle myself because it's a lot cheaper than the BMW ones and this way I can keep updating my cradle as I go along.

Hi bruce_miranda!
As you seem to be the only one (in the world ) who successfully used a w810i with a e60/e61 with Navi Professional, I just can't stop digging: how do YOU know which CIP-Version you have? How can I be sure to have CIP 21.x in a car I'm playing with?

You will never know what the CIP version is unless your dealer tells you. However I can confirm that I have the latest firmware for W810i.
I'll try again in the evening. What in particular would you want me to check so that I can prove that this actually does work fine.

Hi bruce_miranda,
just pair your phone and car (if not already done), call someone by typing the number on the i-drive (without touching the phone). If you hear the calling tone and your counterpart on the car's speakers - then it works fine.
Firmware R4CK003 is what you have - so do I. The big Navi is SAA633.
And thank you for your help!

Yikes! I think I'm going to hold off on the phone now...
Dial someone from the displayed phone book.
Dial a number using the i-drive control only.
Receive a call and take it by the steering wheel control.
Any more any one wants me to do to prove that this does work.
