Sony Ericsson V800 DIY Cradle - Finished Article

Following on from a previous post by Bruce Miranda, I've made a custom cradle for my V800 as I suspect that BMW will never produce one from this model. Bruce also gave me some valuable advice via e-mail, so thanks again Bruce !
Basically, it's made from a Sony Ericsson T610i cradle (as this has the same base connector as the V800), a standard Sony Ericsson car cradle and the associated aerial lead. It was a case of cutting the middle out of the BMW cradle, fitting the SE cradle inside, connecting the wires on the socket to the BMW circuit board and patching in the aerial plug. One of those jobs that takes a bit of thinking first time around, but easy the second (if there ever is a second !). Bluetooth works fully with the V800 and this now gives me power and external aerial - plus somewhere to put the phone !
