Sony Ericsson S700i Works with E60 Bluetooth

When I first paired my s700 with the E60, it did pair but then lost the connection, reconnected, lost the connection and so on. I searched and saw many people say the same thing. I saw some claim that not having many SMS messages on the phone or SMS messages that were too long fixed it, but I tried all those things and the phone would not stay connected to the E60.
I checked my phone's firmware and it was well out of date. I had firmware R3F008. So, I got the latest firmware for the S700 installed which is R3M008 and now the phone works perfectly with the E60. The address book upload was also pretty fast.
