The Sony Ericsson k750i Snap-In adaptor was supposed to be available in Germany from 1st March 2006. It is Part No. 84 21 9 116 566. Would somebody based in Germany kindly check with their dealer to see whether they are available yet?

I've got a German dealer who's going to ship me one to the UK as soon as he gets it, I'm not sure whether the delay is with my dealer or whether they're not currently available.

Many thanks,

Mark.

I'm aware of that, which is why I'm intending to source from Germany. I've contacted a dealer twice who assures me that they'll let me know as soon as they recieve them. What I'm wondering is whather ANY dealer in Germany can currently get hold of them.

I'm ready to change my phone and want to have the adaptor first so I can try the charger within the phone company's 14 day return period. I'll take a k750i/w800i if a UK model will snap in German adaptor, if it won't I'll go for a different phone.

Mark.

PS. anyone know if the W810i would fit the same adaptor?

Last update for me was last Friday; the item is currently not given free for ordering.

I?ve tried to order it but in the etk (epc) it is marked as "nicht freigegeben".

So we all have to wait and that SUCKS!

Can?t await it...

Checked with my dealer - not showing up as a valid part number in the UK system. Going to check in a few weeks time.

Might also try to get it when across in Germany for the Nurburgring trip

Have called my dealer here in Germany, because I?m looking for a new E60-compatible phone, too.
He talked to BMW in Munich and they say, the adapter should be available from Mid-April now and it will only work properly in E60s built after 09/2005. I?ll be waiting three more weeks max, then I go for the Nokia.

Thanks for that Oyster! My car arrives this Thursday so will be compatible with the Snap-In adaptor. Now to find out whether the Sony Ericsson w810i will also fit, I know both the K750i & W800i phones do!
