Does the K750i transfer all contact phone numbers to the car, even if a contact has more than one number? And how are the different numbers for one contact then shown on the display?
I am keen to get either the K750i or W800i, noticed the have similar specs. Any comments about compatibility of W800i with E60 ? Cheers.
My understanding is that the W800i is baiscally the K750i with
a) Different firmware to give better MP3 Sound and acessibility
b) A different case (not very nice IMO)
If you get a K750i then you can get it flashed with the W800i firmware which makes it behave like a W800i but retains the nicer case of the K750i.
I would expect that the W800i had the same compatibility with the E60 as the K750i.

My Ride: 2006 525i Silver Gray/Auto/Prem/Xenon/Nav/Sirius
My unbranded/unlocked k750i works just fine on the Cingular network, and my US06 525.
One function that does not work as well as it did with my old Siemens S56: the signal strength meter with the k750i either does not update properly or as frequently as it did with the S56, OR it updates only when switching from one network to another, e.g. home to ROAM.
I get bad reception at my house (1 or zero bars), but this improves to 4 bars (on the phone) within 1 mile of my house. However, the i-Drive signal strength meter does not change from zero bars that it started with when I drove off. The S56 DID change. However, and I have not experimented much, I noticed that when the ROAM triangle appears or disappears, the strength meter also changes (Cingular phones still consider the old AT&T network to be roaming). Hence, my theory above.
