For us at the e60 who has the Motorola Razr, and having problems keeping it charged all day with loosing 2 or 3 bars on the battery indicator?

I notice when I have 4 bars when fully charge on the battery indicators. I charge it on at home using household current, (110), and from 8 Am to 11 am it might last till 11 without dropping one bar.

But if I charge it in my car for maybe and hr using the cigarette lighter, it will stay charged almost to 8am to 5pm without dropping 1 bar!

I will be glad when BMW NA gets with it and produces a cradle for the Motorola Razr, before this summer would be nice...

Eddie Presley

PS,
Has anyone else here notice this to be true about charging their Razr?

I placed the order too!

Just a question, where is the antenna connection?
I?ve read something about an inductive antenna.

Yes, but I can?t see that on snap-in.

In my siemens s55 snap-in there is a connector.

We hope the mobile coverage can be enhanced by car antenna.

Hi Eddie,
Part number for RAZR cradle: 84 21 0 415 023. Order it from Crevier BMW(parts@crevierbmw.com). It will take a few weeks to arrive (2 -3 weeks). I don't think Hank Aaron can order it. One of the advantages of Crevier is that it has a large wholesale parts department.

Thanks Joe for your quick reply!

About how much does the cradle for the Razr cost you?, Did you install yourself, or did a BMW dealer install it. If so, if you don't mind telling how much did they charge you for the install?

Your GA friend,

I don't have it. I'm just relaying information I gleened from another thread. I'm betting it will cost between $100 - $200. I think I've seen in the DIY forum that someone installed the cradle for another phone. Email Crevier. The contact person is Vaheh. He's a cool guy. He can tell you the exact price and that it will be coming from Germany which would account for the time. Good luck!
