SMS on i-drive

I'm sorry if this is a repost but i don't find it by using the search button...

So here is my question:

is it possible to see your received messages on the i-drive screen?

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.

I strongly doubt it.

There are so many mobile phone manufactures and they all have small
differances in the protocols...

In the future this must be possible and especially with a "BMW" cell phone.

As of now no. Not with bluetooth. I think you can if you bought the CPT9000 adapter for your phone.

Well i have the adapter for a nokia 6230i.
But i don't know where i can find the message when i received one...

Other suggestions?

If you have the original BMW Prof. phone - yes! But not with the bluetooth setup...

And do you have the 'regular wired bmw phone' or the bluetooth function?

Anybody knows how it can be enabled by using the bluetooth function?
