Yup! The one thing I respect more than anything though is how they have been able to offer all the newest features on the oldest hardware. Even though they have released many new iterations of the Slingbox, my original unit still does all the new stuff - no obsolescence issues with these guys. Fantastic products.
This weekend, I was in an area where there wasn't any 3G coverage (only EDGE) and spent some time using the BB version of the Slingplayer and surprisingly, it worked pretty well...

Yeah, I used to use it on my old Verizon Q, and Verizon has service in the DC Metro (subway). It was only CDMA 1XRTT , but I used to be able to watch TV on it while underground (and moving).
My newer AT&T Q has a better processor and doesn't get as hot as the old one when it decodes video. It also keeps a steadier frame rate.
