Hi all, I hope someone can help me out?
I'm a new member from the UK. I've recently brought a lovely 525 M Sport Saloon which I want to retro fit a BMW Bluetooth kit to. My local dealer guessed it would cost ?3000.0o for them to fit!!!!
I would like to fit the kit myself, and have BMW do the software, as I have a good knowledge of car audio installs and electronics in general, so the tech side would be no problem for me.
My questions are-
What is the part number for a retro fit Bluetooth kit including loom (my car has no phone loom, checked in N/S boot and mic location)?
Can I run a bluetooth phone without using/installing the docking cradle that goes in the centre storage compartment?
How long/cost would software update be?
Has anyone carried out this install?
