I have am 11/04 build without NAV and have paired my TREO 650. It worked for a few days without access to the phone book. I followed some links from this forum and upgraded my version from PalmOne. I now have a reset loop that is happening only when in the car. I hard reset and reloaded the version upgrade into a new user (Temp) and re-paired. It worked fine but none of my data was in the phone as I used the Temp. Has anyone had this problem - and if so - were you able to fix it? Thanks!

 

The only time I've seen that behavior was when I overflowed the internal memory of the phone. I installed too many eBooks and maxed it out. It wouldn't settle down until I did the hard reset that clears out all of the memory on the device. The good news is that if you are regularly synching the thing, that isn't a big deal because it restores everything from the backup it does each time you sync. However <insert large grain of salt> your mileage may vary...

And I do sync several times a day - so, you are right - it's no big deal. The weird part is it only is in the reset loop when I am in the car with bluetooth on. It even resets when the phone is off in the car, with bluetooth on.
