Another post regarding the same divvy question. After a lot of trips to the BMW garage, they finally informed me that my 530 (UK BUILD 19 March 2004) was not able to accept BT connections to any phone. I have the professional phone installed which the handset is Bluetooth. the iDrive also has the BT option and its enabled. I have a BT card with the TCU details of 84.11.6948920-01. After searching this site I see no mention of this part number. The sticker also has USA 10.3.2004. Whats all that about???
The garage informs me that BT is not compatible with my car....
The professional phones SIM card is connected directly into the caddy and not the phone. My Blackberry can connect to the car, blue light flashes for 2 seconds and then goes off. The Blackberry identifies the car as a "Phone Access Server". Therefore my Blackberry is not trying to pair with the Motorola phone. I proved this by leaving the car handset in the house, turned off with the battery out.
Therefore I am still a little lost.. BMW say that my car is not BT compatible, although Ihave a card that says otherwise. I also have a NT option in iDrive. I am also able to pair my Blackberry, connects for 2 seconds and then disconnects. Can someone pllleeaaassseeee help. Are BMW taking me for a ride????
