Please help: 550 bluetooth not working

My Ride: 2006 BMW 550i, arriving March 2006, Black Sapphire, Premium sound, sport, nav, comfort access, active steering
2004 Porsche Turbo, Slate gray, X50, nav, aero kit
I have a 2006 550 I got in ED. It has never synced any Blackberry. I had it not synch with my Nextel BB 7250 and now my Verizon BB 8830. I can not figure it out.
I set the car to sync mode and the phone is enabled. The phone can never find the CAR..
Any advice...
