Phone compartment

So the phone compartment has a plug in for another phone, I have an iPhone so this space is useless. Has anyone made better use of it or do they make an iPhone plug?

Have no idea what they are called they have been spoken about at great length in this forum,
ebay have them, but call you BMW dealer and tell them what you want, they have them for both the 3gs an 4 /4s

I got this from ebay several weeks ago, my car is a 06 530D
it?s the BMW I Phone cradle, this works a treat, it links to my idrive and i can serch numbers phoned etc

This is something I am looking for as well, my car has the phone package and want to retrofit both the iPhone cradle and bluetooth.
I have a 2004 545i built in September of 2003.
BMW is quoting me $145 for the cradle.
