About 4 months ago it was discussed where there car was not accepting the pauses that we have programmed into the phone. Have they fixed this yet? If so I will need to get the upgrade. It is really frustrating that they can't have the car recognise the simple pauses in the number. I do a lot of driving and checking of my company voicemail so it is kind of important to me.

I, too, would love to see them fix this. To be honest, I forgot to check to see if it's fixed in 13.3. I'm not too optimistic that it'll be fixed though.

Now that more and more people are using BT, can anyone verify if a dialing pause works with their phone?

I've still not found a way to dial additional digits for navigating through voice mail, and automated 'attendents' once a call is active. My 'dial' function (with v13.3) does not seem to support doing any other dialing once a call is placed, let alone using pauses, etc.

Anyone found a solution to that one?

I'd be happy if they just recognized the pause entered in the telephone address book. When I select a number containing a pause that was uploaded from the phone, the pause converts to a number "7" and obviously screws everything up.

When I dial the same number using the telephone (not in eject box), the pause works perfectly.

Now that I have Sirius, I guess this would be my new priority software fix...

BMW, thanks for fixing Sirius!! Now can we please have phone pauses??

Sure, you could always do dialing while connected to a call. Just push down on the I-Drive dial and a menu will come up that says "Enter Digits" & "End Call".

Just no pauses yet.

While in a call push down the i-drive knob. You will see the option to end call and keypad. Select keypad. Now dial away.
