i figured out almost everything but the bluetooth wont pair with my v 600

i go to the bluetooth screen on idrive
go to my phone seek devices ..it finds the bmw ..
then bmw asks me for a password ... i put in 0000 which i used for my bluetooth headset..

then my phone asks me for a password ....

not sure if this applies, but my 545 came with the little bluetooth card, and the passkey was definitely NOT 0000. in fact, it's another random 4 digit number. did you look at your card to check?

1. Do not use 0000. Use anything else your heart desires up to 16 digits. It has nothing to do with the BT passkey Card.

2. Once paired, leave that screen. The phone will not work on that screen.

3. turn off the car. Turn it back on again and then go to the phone menu.

You should see it saying please wait. Then it should connect. The address book will transfer on its own while you are driving and not using the phone.

Thumbs up

I have a question. What happens to email Address stored in the address book? Will they transfer too?
Should I just store them on the sim card ( Razr V3 Phone) Since sim contents do not transfer?
Thanks

I thought there was a problem with the v600. Do they work?

There is no problem with the V600. It is fully compatible. The V710 with Verizon is not yet compatible
